Jointly organised by UK Export finance and Innovate UK, this Export & Customs workshop is to help companies get their shipping right, identify pitfalls and risks that they may encounter in international trade activities. Starting with an introduction to UK Export Finance, it will be an interactive workshop where businesses in attendance will have the opportunity to describe their interest in export markets, before going through the potential risks and pitfalls and how to overcome them.

Topics of discussion will include:
• Working with a Freight Forwarder
• Incoterms 2020 – recent changes to the International Terms of Trade
• The dangers of getting Incoterms wrong
• Trade Tariffs • Common errors of documentation


Peer-learning There will also be an opportunity for peer-learning, networking and Enterprise Europe Network Innovation Adviser support. Export Logistics expert In attendance will be Logistics expert  Sam Stretton of www.logicomhub.co.uk  who will be on hand to answer your questions.
