Hackspace: Analog & Power Electronics #5
November 15, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Event Navigation
This is a group meeting up to discuss and build projects based primarily around analog or power electronics.
Everyone is welcome whatever experience level. Even if your primary interest is digital electronics / microcontrollers*, you might well find something of interest here.
This session we will talk about resonant circuits, introducing the tank resonator using some simple demonstrations. Basic frequency domain analysis will be introduced. Then we will build a linear quadrature oscillator, which follows on from the non-linear oscillator we built last time (though it’s not necessary to have built the last one to get this one going).
If you didn’t make previous sessions and want to join in, please come along!
All the materials & diagrams from previous sessions will be available and we will help you catch up on the basic topics. However, this session does build on content from session #1:introduction, session #2: Op Amps, session #3: switch mode power supplies and session #4: relaxation oscillator.

Hope to see you there!
