Optellum was founded so that every lung cancer patient is diagnosed and treated in the early stage, and cured. We redefine early interception of lung disease by enabling every clinician, in every hospital, to manage their patients in the optimal way. Our first product is the first software for personalized early diagnosis & treatment of lung cancer, based on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning applied to the world’s largest clinical dataset.

Oxford Brain Diagnostics

Excellence in Neuropathology, Neuroimaging and the Healthcare sector. An 8-year collaboration between Dr Steven Chance (neuroscience and pathology) and Prof. Mark Jenkinson (Neuroimaging) has resulted in the development of the Cortical Disarray Measurement (CDM). This is our core platform technology, initially applied to the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease but with the potential to be used to identify other brain conditions as the company grows and expands into new markets.



Founded in 2016, Oxford VR is built on the ground-breaking work of Prof. Daniel Freeman (Oxford University, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust), who pioneers the use of virtual reality to understand and treat mental health problems. Our focus is on developing clinically validated, cost-effective, user-centred cognitive treatments for clinical conditions with significant impact on patients, the health system and wider economy. Our treatments are automated, with the therapy delivered by a virtual coach, enabling us to dramatically increase access to the best therapies.

Oxford Drug Design

Oxford Drug Design is a leader in novel antibiotic research.  We use state-of-the-art computational techniques to find new antibacterial compounds. Founded and chaired by Prof. Graham Richards, one of the pioneers of computational chemistry, we use proprietary tools and databases to discover novel drugs and optimise existing compounds.


Radix 2

We specialise in all things audio, including very high quality analogue and digital conversion, Bluetooth, USB audio, audio signal processing and real time ultrasonic processing. Since 2006, we’ve helped many clients with prototyping, early-stage manufacture, and full volume manufacture of complex audio electronics products, and have an established track record of working closely and organically with clients to solve design problems and produce high-quality products demonstrating exemplary attention to detail, sound and aesthetics.

Sherwood Scientific Ltd is a Development and Manufacturing company producing a range of scientific instruments and apparatus with applications in many industries, education and research. As well as manufacturing our own products we are able to undertake specific consultancy projects in many areas of analytical measurements and process control utilising our own experience and harnessing our extensive contacts

TZ Ltd

TZ Limited is at the forefront of electronic locking device development. Over the past 15 years, TZ’s intelligent, remotely actuated locking devices have been deployed in aerospace, military and automotive applications. TZ SMArt Devices can sense, act, lock and audit activity based on secure instructions delivered on-line.  This enables rich data collection and diagnostic abilities.
